Frequently asked questions
Do porcupine dates treat dengue?
No, and we do not claim they do. Dengue requires medical monitoring — platelet counts and fluid status have to be followed by a doctor. Porcupine dates are a traditional edible product and do not replace medical care. Seek medical attention immediately if warning signs appear.
Can it be taken during recovery?
Ask your treating doctor, particularly while you are hospitalised or under close monitoring. They can see your blood results and medication, which makes their judgement far more reliable than any general advice.
How much should we prepare?
It depends on the intended duration and which line you choose. Tell us the expected duration and we will estimate the weight and per-gram cost. Whether to take it at all should still go to the doctor first.
